The LUPA research group, Laboratory in Urbanism, Heritage and Architecture, develops and promotes project research, with the purpose of generating knowledge to address the dynamics and problems surrounding habitat and territory. 

LUPA researchers have been conducting research and social outreach activities. With other research groups from both national and international universities, students from different UCM programs and communities in the region.

Research for LUPA group is a dynamic element of teaching, which through project research is reflected in the architecture program at UCM in all semesters from the Project scenario in order to generate knowledge and produce critical knowledge, in such a way that catalyzes social and political change of the studied environment.
