The Master's Degree in Ecoengineering is a response to the current environmental crisis and to the needs of the territories to consolidate sustainable production, consumption and post-consumption processes. Applying the life cycle perspective in organizations, allows the identification and analysis of environmental aspects and possible negative impacts associated with the phases of extraction of materials and energy, production, transportation, consumption and waste management, and thus, perform a comprehensive environmental management with a preventive approach.

The Master's Degree in Ecoengineering is born from the socio-environmental responsibility of UCM, declared in its Environmental Policy and in the institutional purpose of implementing Integral Ecology in its Vital Campus. We are the only University in the country where you will find this program, which promotes the training of professionals who contribute to the transition of the current linear economic model, towards sustainable production and consumption processes enacted in the National Circular Economy Strategy. Our program, aimed at professionals in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences and related professions, has as its object of study, the ecological footprints of goods and services generated in the life cycle and from there, deepen the solutions to environmental problems with research, scientific and technological processes applying principles of Engineering, Ecology and Environmental Management.
