The specialization in Occupational Safety and Health at UCM is the answer to the needs of the environment in relation to the qualification in the management and control of occupational risks, considered fundamental pillars in the global environment, since it constitutes a strategy for the economic development of organizations, regions and the country.
Aware of this need, UCM proposes this Specialization to focus your interest in the intervention of occupational hazards in a comprehensive manner, proposing solutions that affect the control of accidents and occupational diseases. To achieve this objective, you will strengthen your skills in the identification, evaluation, control and intervention of the causes of occupational health problems.
The Specialization in Occupational Safety and Health offers you training aimed at the protection of workers, the prevention of accidents and illnesses caused by risks and working conditions in the various economic activities.

Additionally, you will be able to implement prevention plans in the public and private sector, through interdisciplinary and inter-institutional research projects aimed at improving health and safety policies for the working population.
