Nursing professionals and technicians who are interested in deepening their knowledge about the management of adult critical patients. Personnel working in critical care units who need to update their training certificate.

Presentation:

The course provides theoretical and practical elements related to the care of adult patients in critical care, taking into account the pedagogical model of the UCM and the teaching-learning processes that involve self-management, self-control and self-direction of knowledge, oriented towards a humanized care with high scientific level.

Discipline

Module 1

To know the cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal and neurological alterations of the adult in critical care.

Module 2

Identify the human needs of adults in critical care.

Module 3

Select the most appropriate care actions for the adult in critical care according to the identified human needs.

Module 4

Possess the ability to install, manage and interpret the different monitors of the critically ill adult patient.
