Presentation:

The patient safety course is aligned with the strategies and policies of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, which recognize that health institutions do not have sufficient reliability related to the control of risks inherent to the provision of health services, most of which are preventable.

Unit 1

Recognize the basic and normative concepts of patient safety and their application in the institution.

Unit 2

Identify the components of the patient safety policy.

Unit 3

Analyze from the normative the safe care model and its applicability in the organization where he/she works.

Unit 4

Recognize the human, ethical and formative elements of the professional committed to safe patient care.
