As part of the Church Ministry, the Congregational Charisma and its identity, the Universidad Católica de Manizales works on the whole person integral education in order to contribute to social and cultural transformation, supported by principles of participation and co-responsibility, with international quality criteria.

UCM Mission

To contribute to the whole person integral education from a humanistic, scientific and Christian vision, enlightened by the Gospel, the Church Ministry and the Congregational Charisma of the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin.
To direct the academia with universality, humanization of knowledge, quality and innovation criteria, in order to construct new citizenship as an expression of the dialog faith-culture-life to respond to challenges of the contemporary society, within the context of a globalized world, with ecclesial and social meaning.
