The Bachelor’s degree in Nursing builds in its students scientific and socio-humanistic insights that support this profession, its ethical principles and its social sensitivity required to lead and to manage the healthcare of the person as an individual, their family, their community and their surroundings from an interdisciplinary vision of healthcare; a professional with capacity to conduct and implement policies to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life, the health promotion and the disease prevention.
The UCM nursing graduate understands the nature of Nursing, its identity, its boundaries, its statute and its relationship with other disciplines and professions. This program builds professionals able to recognize and respect interculturalism, beliefs, and the experiences of the society, by promoting educational and developmental practices and processes tending to improve the conditions of life and health of the community, the family and the individual.
